I'm thinking you fold down the rear "seat", slide the passenger seat as far forward as possible then recline it as far as possible. Crawl over the passenger seat and sleep with your head in the back of the hatch. That's how I'd do it.

Ya I've slept in the back with seats folded down with gf no problem. Im 5' 10" and she's 5' 4". Comfortable enough to not toss and turn for 6 hrs hahah

I get to work at 0515 every morning and take about an hour nap in it before I walk in to work.

This thread actually gave me a genius idea.... the CRZ should be PERFECT for the drive in theater (yes we have one left lol) put the back all the way down( i keep the back all the way down all the time anyway since US has no "back seats") pillows,blankey, and open hatch and good to go ^^ lol and my brother is trying to argue with me his Mazda 3 hatch is better for that I think not lil bro! lol <3 I love hatches but imo CRZ is King <3

ive done it. i folded down the trunk, threw 2 blankets as a cushion, and slept all curled up on halloween. I was plastered and didnt want to sleep on the ground, it was a fantastic choice.
