Default How do you handle your blind spot....

I was wondering I guess there are after market blind spot detection systems you can buy anyone install one of these on their CRV, any recommendation on which one people have been happy with, I know a lot of people go with a mirror to glue on to there side mirrors to give them a wider angle, any particular ones that fit and look nice on the existing mirrors, Im thinking a round one would detract a little, I also wonder if any of those 180 degree backup cameras attached to an after market nav system would be helpful, just curious what you guys have done... Im sure I would monitor the vehicle activity along side of me and no made sudden changes, but I just want one additional thing in place what do you guys recommend?

A lot of crz reviews from the major car magazines complain about the blind spot, but I really don't have a problem with it. The side mirrors give you a pretty good field of view and then if I really want to make sure I look behind me and the hatch windows give you enough view. I'm pretty good about subconsciously keeping track of cars in other lanes on the highway because I'm always driving faster than most of them and change lanes frequently

I use 2" fisheye mirrors attached to the outside mirrors. I have put them on all of my cars for the past 28 years.

I also put a couple convex mirror-stick-on things and the blind spots are gone.

I ordered MaxiView mirrors that stick on your side views. They are adjustable and work
just fine. I also have a wireless back-up camera purchased at Pep Boys.

Blindspot when driving is not a problem for me, just when backing out of a spot.

I have the same issue, that is why I splurged for the back up camera for the new head unit. Now if the dang thing would just come in.

Blindspot was a huge issue for me. Fisheye on the passenger's side, Convex replacement side mirrors, and a huge convex Broadway for the rearview. All the mirrors overlap so there is no blindspot.
