Hi, all - my first post here.

I might consider a CR-Z to eventually replace my Civic Si. However, I have two kids, ages 10 and 5. My wife rarely joins us, so logically with my son up front, I could squeeze my daughter in back... if it had a seat there.

So... does anyone have any knowledge regarding availability of aftermarket or JDM back seats in the US?

I was wondering the same thing. I will be having kids in the next 5 years, so I will need rear seats. If they can be installed I will buy one and if not, this car will unfortunately be off the menu for me. I will need to get another WRX instead.

I called the Honda dealership today and they confirmed the CRZ comes with a rear seat.

Just to inform you guys..

I tested it and it works great if you are smaller then 160cm, if your are 170cm you have to lay down (good for real small rides).. above.. not done..

so its good enough for me, and my (little) wife and children (2 years)

The back seats have isofix, the bars are around the middle of the vertical slits.

there are mounting points for baby seats. The guy who sold me the car used one in his service CRZ car. I also read this my own on the manual.

Can we get a EU member or someone in Japan or a in a market with rear seats to cost out some seats and seat belts for us in the USA? Pretty Please with Cherries on top? It would be great to know what it will cost to do a conversion with the Honda OEM parts.
