well if your going really small then the tyre wwould have to have a bigger sidewall. that naturally would mean more flex and less "stability"
but then again i don't think that that would be a big problem. as long as you don't use like 14 in rims =p so overall i think if you use a decent size rim with sort of a low profile tyre, then it will give very good performance. the rim won't be too heavy and the sidewall won't be too big =] |

i had an 04 ep3 i kept the stock rims on it... used tokico blues h&r springs (2 inch drop all around) and spc camber kit and it looked so sexy. the crz is a hatch.. so id say if they are stock 16 ... stay 16 or go +1 max... but thats just my 2 cents... it also depends on wheel gap and the over all look that your trying to get. ... if i had crz id drop it just like the ep ... make it sit nice and low... =)
