Forgive me but is it really hard to get that little bulb out of there or do you have to tear the entire surround out to get to it, thanks. Mine doesn't work, my buddy and I messed with it one day just to see it and now it doesn't work.

I'm gonna see if I can get to the bulb without ripping the little box like CrzyKly.
Does anyone think a T5 SMD bulb will fit? Looks similair to DecalDude's. I found these on deal extreme. T5 12V White 1-LED Car Dashboard Light Bulb (Pair) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

The glove box light is sooooo feeble.
I got the little bulb out today. It was really simple. Just used a little flat screw driver and pried the lip closest to me down, and then worked it around and it popped down and out. The bulb is attached to a little twist harness. I also found a T5 3 SMD bulb on ebay which should fit. Two bulbs for $5 shipped. It says the width is 5.5mm. The width of the bulb I took out of the car is 5mm. The 3 SMD bulb is a little flat pc board, one smd on each side and one on the tip. I think this is better then the single tip SMD because the bulb has to sit sideways. So if you twist the harness in just right an SMD will be pointed directly down into the glove. I'm going to order some bulbs tonight and post the results when I get them. FYI. The glove light only works when the head lights are turned on.
