Australia drives on the opposite side than the U.S.

Many people run into a similar issue with other vehicles (JDM front end conversion for the Integra). There are LHD vehicles in Europe so people trying to order the LED/HID headlights should get them from one of those countries.
Yep

please don't show me a Mini, Toyota, BMW, Ford, etc to prove this... i'd like to see a HONDA headlight that shows this... until then, i'm gonna believe that ANY CR-Z headlight will work...
That might be possible with some Halogen lights with replaceable H4 bulbs but with HID's or Xeons the projection part of it is specifically built for LHD and RHD because of there illumination is so intense. Xeons, in fact, must have "auto leveling" devices on them because they are so bright.

Ever see an older car that had standard H4 bulbs converted to HID's? Notice how they are incredibly bright and blind the ever living snot out of you if you are going the opposite direction? That is because it does not have the proper reflector to divert the light on to the road.

Not even if you use standard sealed beam head lights they can't be swapped either.

Im pretty sure that the that the halogen crz housings have projectors as well... They dont have reflectors like the civic...

its generally what honda is going for for its higher end vehicles without HID's

the cutoff for a halogen projector and an HID projector has the same shape.

Look at it this way,

this is the pattern the way its set up for a USDM car, Now move that over to the right hand side of the road, does the pattern look like its optimised for driving? its backwards...

the cutoff needs to be reversed.

JDM lights will work, but they wont be set up proper for RHD roads with the projectors, halogen reflectors wont have this issue.

I know that your not. I was using it as an example on why proper reflectors are required for proper headlight operation.

i may sound like the pessimist here, but i'm gonna need physical parts placed side by side so i can see the differences for myself... either that OR Honda writes me a letter specifically detailing the differences... nothing else will convince me here... (nothing i can think of at least haha)

thanks for the replies!
