Most push button start systems now use a chip built into the key and as long as you have it you get in the car, Press the break or clutch down then press start and away you go. That is what I want. As for adding it myself I am not doing that on a 24k-30k brand new car when they already have built the darn button for other markets.

Not interested in most of the features. The US spec looks fine IMO, hope we'll be able to get a CR-Z without all the useless bits here in Europe as well...

* The back seats are not usefull to me in any way, they just add weight and make storage in the car more difficult.

* Sunroof I don't like. I tend to look at the road and not in the sky when at the wheel. Leaks and/or jams when the car gets old, makes the A/C work harder and adds weight where you don't need it (far away from CoG).

* DRL LEDs are a "cool" novelty item here, and every %"$%! has them retro fitted to his ugly Golf IV to maximise annoyance factor when tailgaiting. Don't want to be mixed with that crowd. Especially ugly as styled on newer Audis IMO.

* Leather seats if done right might be an interesting option, but usually the price premium in Europe is ridicoulus compared to what you get. I'd rather spend the money on a new pair of Gravati shoes, at least that's real leather and craftsmanship . More of a status thing here really.

* Push start button: looks like it's standard here. Hope it comes without "key less entry" features because that is going to be a major pain in the neck to fix yourself once the car gets old and transponders start to fail (programming kit usually only available to dealerships).

* Headlight sprayer: well that is required by law here if you get HID beams. Makes sense, HIDs don't work when dirty. Not sure if the HID light as implemented on the CR-Z will actually be any better than the standard halogen stuff though.

I will GLADLY trade you and pay for shipping both ways for all of these parts... i don't care enough for the back seats to pay for them, but if someone is willing to trade me for the stock storage thingy (and seat belts lol) i'm down... and the LED headlights, i'd be willing to trade you those a soon as possible too...

like i said i'll be willing to pay for me to ship my lights to you AND pay for you to ship your lights to me... heck i'll even send mine to you first so you can install them and not have to worry about having a car without headlights... the HIDs don't need to be sent just the housing... i know it's months in advance but let me know if that's something you'd like to do

HID will be a premium for this car. Hopefully someone makes an easy upgrade for us North Americans.

more than likely a simple HID kit can be bought for the non-EX trim... depending on where you get a kit from, i've seen them from $50-$200 per kit... it's not bad but i prefer stock HIDs if it's offered

My car due June 20th. White GT top spec car; Has virtually everything:
Leather, back seats, moonroof (a non opening sunroof, IE a window!), Hid lights inc wash, parking sensors, bluetooth, heated seats, auto lights/wipers, climate, front fogs, sat nav, folding mirrors, upgrate sound, privacy glass, etc etc. There are UK 2 lower specs. The sport that looses leather, heated seats, moonroof, Hid lights, bluetooth, fogs and auot lights/wipers. and the S (poverty spec) model that looses even more bits!
In UK you cannot specify any useful bits on lower spec cars IE Bluetooth or nav on an S or a sport. Very annoying and forces people into the top spec more expensive varient. Gnash Gnash!!!!

same thing here in the US... usually with Honda they have different trims like DX, LX, EX, Si (if available)... you can't get ANY goodies on the DX or LX trims usually only available on the EX or Si trims...

since the CR-Z sounds like it will only have a Base and EX version here...
