Here's a forum thread with links to the Owner's manual and the Navi manual. You'll need to look in both to find disc compatibility (and maybe audio specs?)

2011 CR-Z Owner and Navi Manuals (USDM)

Doesn't play DVD that I know of. The only disc that's been in mine so far is the navi dvd (in it's dedicated slot), haven't played any cds yet - use my iPhone directly connected via usb for audio (only used the radio twice so far.) That said, I like what I hear out of the factory set up. Not sure if you'll be happy with it though.

I think it's worth every penny. Voice activation on pretty much anything is incredibly awesome. And, imo, it looks better than aftermarket units in 'fit kits'.

Just what Shatner said.

This is my first in-car navi and I love it. The nav system worked perfectly for me during a vacation just days after buying the car. Using the voice commands while driving helps keep focus on the road. My most used voice command: "find nearest fast food."

The hands free link with my iPhone is quite helpful as well. The iPhone paired with the navi and imported my phonebook into the system.

Sweet, Thank you for the opinion's. I think Ill just be patient and wait till the dealer can order one and have it installed. I couldn't find the Make of the actual radio. Though it reminds me of an Alpine at the very least. The ANXIETY is going to KILL ME!!!!!

I looked at mine closely and ( I think it was in the documentation) it says Alpine! If you have a non-Navi 'Z... and are going to have it installed... look at the Pioneer.... latest technology, whereas the Honda is a little dated. plus the Pioneer is cheaper. I don't know if it would interface with all of the steering wheel controls or not.

The pioneer kit looks nice - almost tempted to upgrade my non-navi when I get it. Will be having a look round to see what is newest though, certainly don't want to be tied to the 12+ month old factory version.

Factory Navigation is the same unit that debuted way back with the early 2000 TL's and Accord's?
