I remember them using the term "bumper to bumper" when selling me the Honda Care package. Maybe I will bring it to them to see what they say. But the list of things not covered is big

I'd at least try to bring it to them and see what they say. You did do a CarFax on it to make sure it hadn't been in a previous accident?

I don't see temp being an issue. Got plenty of members in the colder areas with frequent negative temps.

That's not how wind chill works. Wind chill is how cold it feels to a person, an object does not get colder than the actual temperature.

I've been emailing the service department back and forth this afternoon, sent them the pics. I'm bring it in tomorrow afternoon so they can actually see it. They said labor is $23, and the part is $69.70 (nearly the same as having it shipped from a website). I didn't wanna spend $100, but I don't like looking at it...

Get it fixed and put it behind you.
I truly doubt it was the cold that cased this. The way people kick the snow buildup out of their wheel wells, in sub-zero weather, these would be shattering left, right, and center. They aren't. You'll feel a whole lot better when it is back to normal, and no further damage can be caused by a floppy bumper. But I hope your dealer takes some pitty on you. $100 is not bad, but it doesn't make you feel great. Still, I really cannot see how this is going to be Honda's fault.

Good luck

So, the body shop guy looked at it, put it on a lift, and used a heat gun to get the bumper shape back to normal. I'm not sure if he replaced the fender or just glued it back together and used a new clip. I didn't ask because I was so shocked when he said "we're not going to charge you". I was so surprised, still am. I was only there for a half hour. So glad I don't have to look at that warped bumper anymore

Good service.
You have a good dealer there. The $20 he invested, will probably return him many times over, in the next few years.
Happy your baby is back to normal.

So far all very good experiences with my dealer, Ralph Honda. Definitely will bring the Z in for maintenance and problems in the future.

Super tiny gap left. He fixed the old fender so that's probably why.
