Antifreeze, get corrosive after so many years so it must be changed date or miles doesnt matter. but oil. OMG, oil in a un-run engine not being used is the same as oil in a quart...or sealed in your shocks etc.

So many people do not know this.

If you have a oil squirt can in your grandpas garage, it is still good after years and years...


Again, I will stand by the fact date does not matter, it is useage that matters.

Condensation can occur and add water into the oil. Plus the oil in the pan is not air tight which can deteriorate the oil as well.
