Anyways I got my mask in today, I need this BADLY for my commute to work because I just got my car a week ago an already I have a few chips. I'd figure I would use this and it will help me out. Anyone with any experience on these? I plan on taking it off 3 days a week to clean under it and re-wax my bumper. I just hope every time isn't like the first (in this case at least) this thing was super tight. ![]() -Luis

Personaly I would return it and get a clear bra. Unless your super carful taking that mask off it will scratch your paint the moment any hard dust/dirt/rock gets under it. the clear bra is very hard to notice unless your up close and you don't have to take it off to clean you just clean it.

Yeah I just didn't wanna throw down almost $800 for a clear bra. I was even debating on putting painters tape under it that way I only have to take it off once a week when I washed the car. I guess I'm just gonna have to be really careful taking it off. I know last night was a PITA putting it on but hopefully within the next few days it will stretch.
I also considered having my buddy put a few more coats of clear on the bumper itself. That would run me cheaper than the bra since its his shop. Lol

Clear bra is what I did, and it was a VERY well worth it decision.
I don't know anyone that would take a car bra off more than twice a year, let alone once a week like you are hoping. My time is too valuable to throw it away servicing a part that basically makes the nose of the car look different than stock...in a bad way. Save yourself the aggravation. Plunk down for the clear bra and just wash and wax like it isn't even there. |

I took it off yesterday and cleaned under it and also cleaned the inside of the mask with a pressure hose (air) to take off any particles. I'll just wash it on Saturdays. It's not a big deal for me to take it off 1-2 times a week, it took like 1 min to put back on.
Plastidip glossifier? I gotta look that up.

Plastidip Glossifier is a clear plastidip, but instead of doing a matte finish, it makes it glossy. There's a few guys I know who are using it as a clear bra right now. |

I'm just curious about it. If left for a long time won't it mess up the paint? What if I did do it and still put the mask over it? That way I can take it off just when I wash the car. I'm gonna see some pictures or videos of someone peeling it of, I'm iffy about it just because it seems so unreal. Lol.
