Default Issues with Fog Lights

Hello,

My fog lights on my Z went out all of a sudden the other day, neither side would work. I have checked the fuse and it looked fine but I went ahead and replaced it anyway. I tester both sockets with a meter and neither side is getting power. So that tells me its somewhere between the fuse and the socket, these are the oem fog lights and I looked online in a few places and found nothing. Is there another fuse somewhere? Or something else I can check? I can take it to Honda since its under warranty but its a hassle with them because they will see the mods and first claim my aftermarket Turn lights or DRls caused it before they finally get of their asses and actually look at the car for the real issue... so any ideas?

Thanks,
-R

Usually there is a relay and another fuse under the hood. Have you checked those?

I looked i the owners manual and it only mentions the one in the main fuse box for the fogs, the ones under the hood are for other stuff. I am thinking its a relay, sadly not sure where the relay is and I checked a few auto stores and when they look up fog light relay it says dealer only. :/

There's a relay on the firewall underneath the dash, around where the steering column goes through, that controls the fogs; you might check that one (feel for a click or pull it and make sure the coil is still good). This thread shows the relay : DIY: DRL Delete -> Fog = DRL // Using Fog light as your DRL
