Default Fitting a Clazzio on a EUDM passengers chair

Hello!

Does anyone have experience with getting the clazzios on the passengers chair of the euro crz? I didnt realize it but there is a (small) lever on the top 'shoulder' of the chair to tilt the chair forward and make life a bit easier for someone to get out. Whereas on the USDM version there is not such a lever since, presumably, no one sits in the back anyways.

My gf already assured me she could make the thing fit, by unsewing it and making a hole where the lever is and then fit it back on. My preferred option would be to (temporarily) remove the lever and than fit the cover over the chair and then either leave it like that or mark the spot, remove the cover, make a hole where the spot is,put the cover back on and place the lever back.

But before re-inventing wheels, I was hoping maybe someone has succesfully done this for themselves.

Thanks!

I believe these were initially made for JDM. They ought to have JDM versions for your car that will work.

That is awesome, the only thing is, I am expecting the USDM version, i ordered them from an American supplier here on the forum. So I fear it is too late to get a JDM version for me since the covers are paid for and should be on a boat somewhere between the US and Japan. But yes, eventually trading them for JDM might be an option too.

Ahhh I got ya. Well, I think it should be fine either way. I just went out and peaked at my car, and I'm pretty sure that USDM will fit perfectly.

Thanks for looking at it, really appreciate it

This is how it looks like and seeing that it sticks out a bit and reading about how tight these covers fit, i was getting nervous tho. Even in the best scenario that it would indeed fit, it would still be visible underneath right:

The UK version has this seat back tilt lever also so it would be the same as Japan ie right hand drive. I would have thought that your seat covers coming from the US would be for left hand drive and assume i) that they will be tailored accordingly and ii) the US models have the same seat back release lever.
Good luck with them and if you need to take a knife and sewing needle to the passenger seat cover def agree with your idea to remove lever, fit cover and replace

Ahhhhh the US car doesn't have that lever on the top part. Should be easy for your GF to work with though. Let us know how it turns out.
