Well, I received them. I didnt need to cut anything, just live with the fact that I dont have that lever operational anymore. Its covered by the clazzio now. It fits! Not a 100% fit because you can see a small bump in the vinyl caused by the underlying lever but I'd say 97%. Good enough for me!

Apologize for this picture, it was dark and no battery left on the phone to flash. If somebody likes I can get a better one another time in daylight. But dont worry Shake, you'll be fine!

Shake, glad that you could change them after all. About removing the lever, i called the dealer garage and the mechanic told me that in order to remove the lever you'd have to remover the original seatcovering as well, that was a bridge too far for me. My girlfriend didnt do anything to adjust in the end, i just slid the covers over the chair and the below is the result. I chose not to go cutting in the vinyl out of fear for its integrity.

Not 100% (like a small wart lol) but I can live with it. Note that on the picture the bump is a bit emphasized cause i focused on it, you don't really notice if your not looking for it.

Alright here goes:

To have your Clazzio instal go smoothly, make sure the car and the covers are nice and warm or you will have a devil of a time trying to stretching the Clazzios..

Waiting for a nice warm spring day to instal mine. Thats when I actually get around to ordering them.

Toronto , Canada is -9 deg C. this morning 3" snow.

Tbh.. It was like 4degrees celsius and i didnt really have a hard time. I could even attach the velcro without much hassle. Ill check again next week if there is a need to try and stretch it further. But i guess it cant hurt to wait for spring. Patience, however, is not my strongest trait..
