Default Europe CR-Zs: do they make the kazoo noise?

(I hope this is the correct place to post this thread...)

There are a number of threads on the kazoo-like noise that the CR-Zs make at higher speeds, especially if there is a head- or crosswind: High pitch screetching noise and Whistling windshield noise are a couple of examples.

When I was looking through the threads about the noise, however, I did not see anyone from Europe (or at least whose profile says they are in Europe) commenting on said noise. I know there is at least one road system over there that it is legal to go fast enough for long enough to be sure if you get the noise or not, plus there seem to be a lot more places to do track-day events. (I think that is probably due to better liability laws, compared to the USA, where the "S" stands for "sue".) It seems like if the EUDM CR-Z owners do not hear the noise at the 145+ kph, there might be another difference between the USDM and EUDM.

Any comments from anyone who has had their CR-Z above 145+ kph would be appreciated.

my only noice was coming from the back,so when i installed the amp´d i isolated the whole area, everything plastic its much tighter now, with rubber tape (thin) now at high speeds,no noice besides the wind noice,(alot) but its just wind noice does not 'whistle'
and i went through a tank full at what ever the car took handle, from Portimão to lisbon didn't even make 300km lol in Sport mode with air con...
and luckly no speeding tickets either.. (not yet anyway)

I drove my CR-Z about 180km/h a few times but didn't hear any "kazoo-like noise". It was very loud - mainly wind and engine but nothing else. But polish top gear journalists testing EDM version had similiar problems as you described.

I've had my CRZ for almost 1 year and I've never noticed this kazoo-noise. And I drive a few times at 130 / 150 km/h.

However, at high speeds the wind noise (or the air resistance) is more noticeable than in my previous car. Which is rather strange as this car is more aerodynamical.

I have heard it briefly a few times - usually driving at speed in a strong crosswind
