Default Accessories from USA fit in European models?

Hi forum,

I am looking into buying a Door Sill Trim-Illuminated and an Armrest w/Storage in USA, although I live in Andorra (little country between Spain and France). My Cr-z comes from France and being a car from the European market, 'm not pretty sure if those two parts will fit without a problem in my car. Product specs do differ from USA to Europe (Ex/ Sill Trim-Illu in USA product nr:08E12-SZT-100, in Europe: 08E12-SZT-600). We drive left hand here, so if there're no different in chassis, I guess they should be the same parts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

People won’t help you if you make 4 of the same post on any forum. Just a little heads up so when someone starts yelling at you then you will be prepared.

To answer your question, since it's left hand dride, yes it will fit. I'm sure Honda made two or even three diffrent part numbers so it wouldn't confuse anyone.

There won't be any problems with fitment, but just the custom charges that applies when you purchase over there... why not just get your local dealer to grab you some?

Why buy the USA version if the factory is in Belgium (Honda Access)? Are they different?

Due to the value of the USD it is often cheaper to buy from the USA. Even with shipping. I usually time my purchases for when the NOK is strong compared to the USD.

Good find, Franck!
The armrest looks like a real nuisance to install. No wonder they want so much money for it (installed price $514 from dealer is in Canada). Makes the one from Zeta look much more attractive (unless you like spending the weekend disassembling your car - and I know there are lots of people here who do) .

I would be worried that the illuminated sill might plug into the Euro model differently (the electrical system might be different, with all the options that they get which we don't).

I can confirm that the armrest is a pain to install. I actually bled a lot from certain portions of the install. It's rather basic, just very laborious.

Thank you guys!! Jujun, I can buy those parts in USA for the same price the local dealer offers me only the armrest.

Crz Canadian, Ve got a Crz model from France, which is called Crz EX-Luxury. By looking at the videos posted by Frank, it doesn't look like 'm gonna have a fitting problem.
