Default Throttle Body (Spoon vs Fit)

With the Fit intake being found to fit our CR-Zs and improve performance due to better air intake, it brings up the question about the throttle body. Is the throttle body from the Fit the same CR-Z or is it sized similar to the Spoon throttle body that is available for and outlandish amount of money?

I think you're right on that... I compared the two part #s and they're almost identical...might just be the 2-3mm bore difference.

IMO, save your money and get your stock TB "Max Bored". It costs about $125 with a 3-day turnaround I think. That's what I'm going to do this summer.

OEM GE8 Fit Intake Manifold "Chamber" $123.00 through Bernardi Honda Parts Site
Maxbored TB $125.00
Takeda Intake $350.00
P2R (or locally fabricated) catless mid-pipe $175-$250.00

Should make for a much more fun to drive car!
