Default Advice on running new CRZ in

I am getting my 6 speed manual at the end of the week. I am wondering with it being a hybrid if there is a prefered method to running the engine in. My current car is a 1.8 vtec and basically followed the advice given here in than constant speed should be avoided. Certainly run better afterwards and used no oil between services.

The entire car has to run in; engine, trans, dif, etc.

Just go easy first 800km (and goin easy arent easy!)

so CRZs need extra care due to the IMA and associated functions unlike normal petrol only engines.

Honda makes incredible vehicles and the tech has come a long way since Detroit recommended the variable speed/don't go over 35 for 500 miles break in method.

Oh yeah, welcome to the owners forum! And at the risk of using a old cliche, say hi to Nessie for me! I've actually driven along Loch Ness a couple of times, I imagine it would be a blast in the Z!

Yeah, it's hard to leave it all alone, haha! Find an "excuse" to drive it, you know you need to!

I have 18k on mine now in less than a year and when I broke it in I drove it like I stole in sports mode. Its a Honda with VVTI, Motor and parts need to be worked.

Had an infinity g37 staring my car down today like it was a Ferrari when blew past him. This car is amazing. Screw running it in. My car is in sports mode every time I drive it and I still average 36mpg driving it like I stole it.
