Ok, so I just noticed that there is a noticeable tick coming from my upper engine. I can't hear it from inside the car, nor outside with the hood closed. I only hear it with the hood up. Only 5k miles, good oil level, no dashboard warning lights, and I haven't been driving it like I stole it. Since it's such a new car, logic would say its an oil issue, but I have checked and re-checked the levels and they are fine. It's also not a temperature issue as I have heard it when the engine is both hot and cold. Hoping it isn't anything too serious... Ideas?

Also, the ticking does not increase in frequency with revving the engine. It is constant
