If anyone could help me on this, or at least let me know if they would be able to withstand 250whp, that would be appreciated |

Don't have an answer for you -- but begs the question of where are you going with this? A specific mod in mind getting you to 250whp?
More information may help others answer your question..

Well, I'm planning a few years in advance here. One of my family friends can hook me up with a 60k/year starting salary when I'm out of uni. So I plan to spend 30-35k on a new car, including any upgrades.
So I'm figuring out what all I will need in order to hit about 230-250whp in a CR-Z. I know very well I'll be going turbo here. I know I'll need pistons, rods, rod bolts, headstuds, bigger TB, 3" exhaust, and a metal headgasket. With the CR-Z starting at 23k here, I'll have about 7-12k for upgrades |

I know the Bisi kit will be about 170whp according to info given so far. That is with stock internals. Any more than that will require upgrading internals I would guess.

In the 5 Part HKS supercharger video, parts 2 and 3 reveal the internal mods they did to acheive 285.5PS (281.5HP). The videos linked below are in japanese and I don't speak, read or understand japanese, but a picture tells a thousand words. Looks to me they changed the rod to a much beefier one, the head gasket to an embossed MLS, and the piston to one that looks like it's beefier and perhaps lower compression. They talk about the block and cyclinder but I can't tell what they're saying and it doesn't appear to have been changed or modified in any way. The cylinders themselves look as if the steel liners could be machined out and thicker liners installed if required.
