When the car is in park and idling, does the IMA battery charge? If so how long to charge it?

No, I do not believe so. I know under some circumstance (in neutral, when the engine is reved to 3k rpm) it will charge while sitting still, but otherwise I believe the car has to be moving to charge the IMA battery.
