Question Won't IMA assist at charging level 3/8?

I'm driving CR-Z EX with Navi, 6 speed manual in U.S,
Its IMA won't assit when charging level is 3/8. (3 charging bars from the left)
but I saw Honda home page movie, even 2 bars in charging level still assist.
Is mine having problem???
Is every one the same? or does yours assist till the battery charging level
get empty????

Mine has never, ever, under any circumstances, given assist below 3/8.
Other folks say different, but that's my experience.

Same here, I've never got any IMA assist below 3/8 bars, either in Eco, Normal or Sport mode.

i was in traffic yesterday, stuck for, very often stop and go so to the engine, it eventually brought down to 2 bar, econ mode, AC on.
Auto stop still engaged, foot on throttle still give 5 bar assist for 1 sec, no more.
now only 1 bar left, auto stop sometimes engaged (have to bring the speed above 12km/h to engage it), still give 3 bar assist for .5 sec.
when no bar, of course nothing happen, lol.

yes, normally IMA cut off at 3 bar, but somehow when the car knows you stuck in heavy traffic, it reacts differently.

Agree, i can get it down to 1 bar while stuck in traffic, then it starts to recharge automatically and will not assist until at least 3 bars show up.

Driving really fast with high rpms (e.g. racing) can get it down to 2 bars aswell, i'll usually need to recharge in neutral at 3000 rpm for the next run - don't forget to pop up the hood while doing so or you risk overheating.
It takes about 3-5 minutes to get it back on 8/8 bars, however the last bar from 7 to 8 takes unusually long time to get there...

Never get an boost below 3 bars, but it does sometimes drop below 3 when not in stop-start, so either it is sometimes giving a little boost, or is is getting out of calibration.

Mine cuts out at 4 bars when going over the mountain on the way to work. It does great 1/2 way up, then feels like I'm dragging an anchor as it insists on charging the rest of the way up. The elevation change is at most 500 feet. VERY annoying.
