manifold? exhaust manifold? Its cast into the block. You're SOL.
the best you can do is a downpipe/cat delete and make the car completely catless. which in some states and countries is illegal. Also if a shop needs to pull the engine to see that, dont take your car there anymore.

Yeh I'm talking about the Exhaust Manifold.
I already have the P2R Downpipe bought from here, but flanges doesn't fit... so I thought since the garage were to build a custom exhaust manifold, he'd also be able to fix that flange. The garage is popular and has an ace reputation, also having done my custom cat-back. I could wait for the aftermarket companies have available in the future... |

Like stated before, the exhaust exits the engine from the head which is cast to include the manifold. I believe it exits in a rectangle flange. Thus meaning that there will be no option for an aftermarket exhaust header without replacing the entire head. It's a shame, but this engine wasn't built with the aftermarket in mind.

Yeah, the only thing you could do is pull the head off and port away.

I highly doubt that this would be worth it. Might gain you another 1 or 2 hp if you dont mess up. Far from an actual header upgrade.

Port and polish would your best bet if ur keeping in NA. And honestly I've discussed the cast head into manifold with friends and a huge part of me sees this being real beneficial in the long run for those k series guys going all motor. I thinks the flow capabilities would be much greater, time will tell.

it MAY be possible that honda will put out a version of the LEA1 with a proper exhaust header for the CRZ Si. If thats the case i forsee many head swaps in order to run race headers and proper exhausts.
