Default Dead Starter Battery Question

I bought a CRZ in May 2011. I left it for 10 days shortly after purchase while on a business trip, and it started up on my return. However, I just returned from a second trip of 14 days, and the battery was dead. As far as I know I did not leave anything on, but ask forum members if there is anything I may have overlooked (lights were off).

AAA said that the smaller batteries have that problem of not keeping a charge.

I suspect this has been discussed previously, so sorry if it's a repeat for a new owner!

Responses and comments welcome.

Hi Franck and merci!
No, there was absolutely no electrical activity, so no dash light flashing 3 times.

I'm trying to determine whether there is something I should have turned off, or if it is a bad battery, or typical CRZ battery behavior.

I left my lights on one time at a restaurant and did not pay attention to the reminder ding dong sound when I got out. The little lawn mower battery up front died while I was eating. Jump started and now use the auto head light function. No more problems.

The only time i had that problem was when I went to the dealership to test drive the car.
