Default GS Yuasa Product Line

I came across a the Yuasa product line while researching the battery manufacturers. It seems as though GS Yuasa isn't a valid game player in the battery war. I'm wondering how the partnership with Honda is doing. Sanyo and Panasonic seem to be the only major manufacturers of batteries. Panasonic did an acquisition of Sanyo, so I guess it's now a monopoly.

The Li EV batteries look good, but their being jointly produced by Lithium Energy Japan. Why can't Yuasa make them on their own?

Links of that page don't work.

As for your question is there still an issue of patent rights? - No idea here. If I keep the car long enough to replace the batteries I'll just use an independent shop.

I meant the product link. Some of what they sell is a clickable link that doesn't work.

I agree, I'd just an independent shop too.
