Default Upcoming Parts & Dyno

Here's whats on the list to order this week:
CAI / Spoon 60mmtb / Bisimoto Plenum Manifold / Exaust / Spark plugs

I will be doing a dyno starting with the CAI and spark plugs, and doing a additional dyno for every part installed. So there will be a total of 4 dynos. I'm really praying to pull 30 - 35 whp off. Which would put me at 155 whp and before the end of the summer is over with I plan on adding a 50shot to see what I will be making in the 1/2 mile. Not really sure what kind of quarter times I will be seeing.

You should add in a engine torque damper for another 5hp......

Sorry sorry sorry ... Couldn't resist GM3.

Sorry but doubt it'll happen. I Gained a max of 16whp with cai and exhaust from the black label fab parts and from what I've seen they have made the most power. So the TB and plugs won't gain u an additional 15-20, TB do not gain much power without a tune, you'll see maybe 1-2 hp, expect the same from the plugs. None the less I'm in for results. By the way which exhaust and intake will u be running?

on 4cyl hondas there isnt usually much to be gained from an intake manifold swap without some tuning (ie advancing timing). Did you email bisi to ask about the manifold. Did they see any gains stock?

I'll be using HKS for exaust and intake. The guy who reflashed my ecu for my tiburon will be doing my ecu for the CRZ. I will not be doing a reflash though until i'm off they dyno with all these parts installed. It would be disappointing to see less than 30whp but it would also make me that much more comfortable spraying.

advancing timing is way down the road from now I dont even want to think about it.

How will the tuning be done? Do you plan on going stand alone like Bisi? It would be very pricey for a DD with bolt ons.. then again if you want to do more later you're already prepared?

Could you let me know once you decide? I'm kind of a nerd with tuning the ecu and would be really interested... even if you only put down 29 more

good luck!

actually the TB would likely free up some potential for the CAI. probably double its gain.
