as long as you don't try to giddyup in really high rpm it will be fine. Just drive it casual for around 2000miles imo.

ive read tons of articles about how to properly break in a car.
for my CRZ i babied it for the first 500 km, then drove it like normal for the rest, with a few redline runs. I figure it would give the best of both worlds of how to break in a car. I have seen articles that state "drive it like you stole it" for the break in period and they compression tested the exact same cars afterwards and the drive it like you stole it car had better compression than the one that was babied. just some food for thought

From the manual, p. 200: "During the 1st 600 mi avoid sudden acceleration or full throttle operation so as to not damage engine or powertrain. Avoid hard braking for the first 200 mi and also when brakes or replaced." Good ? cause it forced me to go back and read it again. seems to be different for different cars.
