Not as loud... iPad picked up more sound then it was.... But what is it? Battery?

I think it's the cooling fan for the battery

It was super loud when I took out the interior panels. Some dynomat or other spray insulation might help.

Yep, I had it come on after a jump start needed due to leaving my lights on. I thought something was wrong and called customer service. It was pretty loud and I never heard it before. Very funny afterwards. The wife and I didn't know if we should bail and run or what.

It was a good laugh later.
