If your A/c is blowing hot and the compressor is engaging, which it may not be, you have a leak. It does no good to add freon Until you find the source of the leak.
As a result A/C problems like this are not DYI fixes. For example if you don't need freon and then add some you can destroy the compressor and other components from over charging your system with freon. You have to take it either to a shop that specializes in A/C fixes or the dealer to get it properly diagnosed. Don't be surprised if it is a really big expense to fix. |
