I voted 3, but it might be 2 or 4. I don't pay too much attention to it, but that's the lowest I've seen it.

I find if you rev like you are changing lanes it tries to turn on below three bars, but the lower it is the less likely it kicks in (which sorta makes sense, since there is no juice to actually use).

Why get antsy? It's still going to run and drive without a charge.

Ok. I don't thing gas consumption has anything to do w/ your hybrid charge. Unless you're flooring it all the time.

I really never worry about it. I ran low a couple of times in my Insight and never had an issue.

Uh... What are the most bars one can have? 8? If so, I've only been down to 6 maybe 5. I also only have like 280 miles on my CR-Z, so...

By the way, Hoisumguo, I checked out your garage and you've done really well with your CR-Z. I'm envious, but Congrats!

ya i know, but im just weird that way. i keep myself from speeding on the freeway by mostly trying to put the mpg line at 50. having larger wheels makes it harder to cruise while charging and having good mpg

3 Bars, then the car moves to forcing regeneration.
