Changing light bulb in door..Help! - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

HELP!! This may sound dumb but I cant find an answer anywhere... I'm trying to change the bulbs to led. I got the dome light changed no problem but, when I removed the plastic cover to the side door lights, I can't figure out how to remove the bulb. I tried to just pull it, but since it didn't come out easily, I didn't want to keep pulling and risk breaking it... I tried turning it but it just lets the plastic part go into the door... sorry for the noob question. Thanks in advance!

I believe they pull straight out... I taped over the door button so the light would stay off and not get hot.

If the socket falls inside the door you will have to pull the door panel off.

They pull out. I remember a couple bulbs being a bit stubborn. Grip it firmly with your thumb and pointer finger and just pull straight back. Enjoy the LEDs!
