The only LEDs that I'm having trouble with are the turn signals. The CR-Z has LED brake lights stock, and the LEDs I used for backup lights seem brighter (though they are just 'whiter' in reality). The red 'side' LEDs seem the same brightness as stock.

The turn signals, though, I'm very disappointed with. I am hoping iJDMToy can respond with a suggested replacement.

I talked to iJDMToy and they showed me the product we should be using for the turn signals: 18 SMD 7440 7443 LED Bulbs | Turn Signal Lights, Back Up Lights, Tail Lights

If you want LED turn signals in the back, USE THESE! Do NOT use the ones in the original post! (Maybe we can get an admin to update the post, since Kreaper seems to no longer be on the forum?)

These are the same thing as the LEDs I bought for turn signals, except the connector is different. iJDMToy says that there will probably be a new version sometime in the future that will be much brighter. I still have not yet decided whether to give them a try.. the reason being that if the LEDs are wired differently they may give out a different brightness. When I was playing with my LEDs I found that plugging them in one way vs. the other would still give light output, but one way was brighter than the other. Perhaps my LEDs are only operating at half brightness.

I wouldn't waste anymore money until they provide sunlight pics with a stock bulb vs LED bulbs side by side. There's a reason why the pics are ALWAYS at night or in a shaded area.

Here's one at dusk-ish, left is LED right is stock. Wish I could find something with greater light output.

If you want bright you might have to go somewhere else... and spend more.

3157 - 3156 LED - Amber LED

I've bought some stuff from them before and have been VERY satisfied with the brightness. Brightness doesn't come cheap though. I'm about to get some for the CR-Z pretty soon. I think they have a pretty good return policy too, so if something doesn't fit or is too bright, you can swap for something else.

try getting one with 5050 SMDs they are more brighter than other SMD chips since it's tri chip. maybe something like this?
2 x Car Bulbs 3157 30-LED 5050 SMD Amber Turn/Tail Light #352 | eBay
or if you want more bright, I suggest getting white LEDs insted of amber, there's more light output on white than amber.
