Anyways,

For anyone looking to do this mod. iJDMTOY now offers this product in Red and Smoked versions as well. I failed to read that anywhere on here and just wanted to let people know.

They also have a How To page (link bellow) for installation, if the wording on there is of any further clarity/assistance to people attempting this mod.

Anyone ever try these?

Honda ZF1 CR Z LED Rear Clear Bumper Reflector Backup Tail Brake Stop Light CR V | eBay

I have LED for my reverse lights, so would it still work out?

The reason I ask is because I have these in right now:

Clear Lens LED Bumper Reflectors as Honda crz CRV Insight Taillight Brake Lights | eBay

and they've worked fine for a while and now my right one does not work when I brake, but lights up when I turn my headlights and unlock my doors.

Has anyone experienced this? If I can't figure out what's wrong I might get the other ones I posted above or just try and order one light or another set. Kind of annoying. The first time they shipped them to me one of the lights was out on one side. But it just looks so good on the car when everything works.

I had this same issue. You probably should remove the rear lights on that side and check the wiring. In my case, the wiring "broke" where I spliced in the brake wires, so I had to redo it. I'm not sure if they changed anything in the design, but the one I bought had really thin wires.

I didn't have to drill the diffuser and the 2nd batch fits a lot better. Also if you had the reflectors before you can use the clips on those for the leds. The new ones also have two strips of leds now.

I read a lot of complaints throughout this thread, how happy are you with the new ones?

They're great. They came red so I didn't have to paint them, they fit a whole lot better, and they're brighter. As long as they don't burn out like the old ones I won't have any complaints.
