Jeeeeesus....... Just spend almost an hour upside down under the steering wheel. I managed to pop off the cabletie from the fuse box side panel, but it was still holding the LED wire to some other wire that was screwed down somewhere, so I couldnt budge it. Finally managed to maneuver a pair of wirecutters in that mess to cut the cabletie. However, once it was free, no matter how I maneuvered the LED wire, it just would NOT be long enough to come even close to the center position! I ended up putting it back into the original position. May get the wiring extended tomorrow.

Could be because my car is a right hand drive vehicle.

Ended up needing to get the wire extended.

Also ordered the light assembly for the center cup holder. Just arrived a few days ago.
Using the white colored covers make the lights a lot more diffuse. Have to admit I much prefer it like this...

well bugger me - having read this thread, and done a dummy run by removing the panels, it seems my UK GT model has the full kit already! I have the centre light above the cubby hole and 2 in each footwell - one on the side panel and one directly above the footwell

I'd just hadn't noticed, probably becuase I haven't driven in the dark yet...WTF were Honda thinking putting a black cap over the light

Yes. It's not hard though. Just about 8 feet of some 20 guage speaker wire and 2 x 3 led strips. I can pm you how to do it if you'd like. Took me all of 20 minutes.

Sure thing. I'll take a some pictures at lunch. Do you need a full write up? Or can you get by with just a brief overview?

Not a huge difference but they're at least a little noticeable now. I think I started to sweat trying to get the driver's side one out and back in without dropping it haha.

EDIT: Actually didn't make the hole big enough so I went back and drilled as big a hole as I could and wow, what a difference.
