Raced on 6 different tracks from August til last weekend and had loads of fun. PhoenixZed's Channel - YouTube Some of the captions are german but really don't make any difference in video content. I've two more videos to cut and upload from previous runs. Too bad it was the las run this year, new fun begins in march 2012

first run 48.84 sec
second run 44.37 sec that little tire slip took 4 sec away and probably 2nd or 1st place instead of 5th, but hell i was so lucky not to kick over that cone while drifting ![]() I wasn't even faster in the second run, just took the corner too steep in the 1st try. Rear left tire probably got up in the air and the 40 kg battery pack in the back did the rest of the job. Next season i really really need some good semi-slicks and that car is going to be just awesome!

Tires will definitely do the trick. Your engine already sounds beastly...what kind of mods have you done to it? Do you have any suspension mods? Also, is this your daily driver?
I feel like I must have been living in a cave because I never heard of AutoCross until my friend told me about it. He has a 1984 Monte Carlo SS. Video's not that great though. SicMonte AutoX @ 2011 RTTS - YouTube Here's him trying to determine what's up with te rear: Broken Rear?? - YouTube

It's pretty much a Stock CR-Z Sport (EDM).
- K&N Typhoon Intake - KW coilovers (Variant 1) - 7x17 OZ Alleggerita HLT Alloys - 215/40 Hankook Evo S1 XL Tires I got the spoon rigid collar kit just last week (ordered back in august) but not going to install it till next season. Yes its my daily drive so i'm not going to make the suspension any harder, the KW are already pretty stiff and i like how they feel both on track and bumpy roads. So i'm keeping the current rims and tires for the road and will try to get some nice 17x8 or 17x8.5 lightweight but not too expensive rims for the track, not sure which ones though. Tires will be 235/40 Federal 595 RS-R or Toyo R888. Then it's up to my budget, maybe a carbon hood and a new exhaust or some more HP if i can get something else than a turbo or supercharger. |

The Federal tires are a waste of money compared to the R888. Go Toyo, Dunlop or Hoosier imo. I bought Toyo R888 for this season
Hope to have some videos of my own to post, once the season starts ![]() Btw, what do you use to edit with? |
