Congratulations!

Interesting note, when I ran mine in the rain on the stock run flats, I was almost untouchable at a track day (even though I felt like I was sliding too much with low grip). Unless someone had rain tires, they were no trouble. Once it dried up, the tables turned and I was back to being the hybrid that for some reason showed up at the track.

I'm not running stock tires. I'm running Vredstein Sessanta 215/40-17, but I still notice that I am at an advantage in the wet. I beat both cars in the stock class that are usually quicker than me, and the drivers have been racing for 15 years. I've barely done 6 monts!

I will change the tires to 215/45-17 most likely to be able to compete in the stock class next. When I've gotten some more experience I think I will move up to the mod class and show those BMWs how it's done. I'm liking the Spoon cam/ecu/throttlebody setup more now as it gives more low-end grunt. Add some an LSD, some coilovers and slicks to that and I think the CR-Z will be something to watch out for. Not just that "hybrid that for some reason showed up"

They struggle in the wet compared to FF cars. But also some of those BMW have really good drivers. One of them won the nationals last year, but he had some engine trouble this race. They don't get to use all that power on such a tight twisty track though, and I really benefit from the IMA out of those corners.

Ofc I beat the STIG! Stig is actually a very common name in Norway. My father loves Top Gear for that reason, guess what his name is

Yes, why? I am considering upgrading, but atm I think some better tires and dampers are next. Looking at some Toyo R888 for next season.
