Congratulations!
Interesting note, when I ran mine in the rain on the stock run flats, I was almost untouchable at a track day (even though I felt like I was sliding too much with low grip). Unless someone had rain tires, they were no trouble. Once it dried up, the tables turned and I was back to being the hybrid that for some reason showed up at the track. |

I'm not running stock tires. I'm running Vredstein Sessanta 215/40-17, but I still notice that I am at an advantage in the wet. I beat both cars in the stock class that are usually quicker than me, and the drivers have been racing for 15 years. I've barely done 6 monts!
I will change the tires to 215/45-17 most likely to be able to compete in the stock class next. When I've gotten some more experience I think I will move up to the mod class and show those BMWs how it's done. I'm liking the Spoon cam/ecu/throttlebody setup more now as it gives more low-end grunt. Add some an LSD, some coilovers and slicks to that and I think the CR-Z will be something to watch out for. Not just that "hybrid that for some reason showed up"

Ofc I beat the STIG! Stig is actually a very common name in Norway. My father loves Top Gear for that reason, guess what his name is

Yes, why? I am considering upgrading, but atm I think some better tires and dampers are next. Looking at some Toyo R888 for next season.
