![]() I finished 1st in both races in the beginners class. Starting to hit the cones now as I'm getting faster laps. I won the second race of the day by only half a second though, so it was quite exciting! What I've concluded. I need a drop, stickier tires and stiffen the car a bit. Or just the tires if I decide to compete in the stock class. A little clip from the last lap of the first race Linky Results http://www.autoslalom.no/2011/201106...nc2/resbc2.pdf http://www.autoslalom.no/2011/201106...nc2/resnc2.pdf |

Thanks
![]() Anyone got any suggestions for tires to run in the stock class? They need to be street tires and not classed as street slicks. Also I was thiking to run the stock 16" wheels from my Accord, if I can get away with that, or get a second set of stock 16s for the Z. |

On the quickest run I used 3 full bars. You get a lot of charge from all the braking. On the second race they opened it up a bit on the straights though, so I used a bit more on those laps. Think the car was hungry as well, cause my two last laps it ate two cones!
Tbot: You are right on that. Class 1 is stock, class 2 is mod, and class 3 is debutant. Those BMW 325i are all stripped out with full roll cage and all. Everyone in class 2 were running slick tires. |
