So I just removed my stock throttle body and replaced it for a bored throttle body. I am selling the throttle body in one of two ways. It is in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures below.

1) OEM throttle body for use as a core or replacement for $130 w/ free shipping for U.S, but will ship internationally at buyers expense.

2) I will send the throttle body to Maxbore the place I used to bore and manufacture a butterfly with your name and address so it gets sent back to you after they finish. You would be responsible for paying them for the work. Just boring and butterfly is 125$ from maxbore. And then of course you would pay me 130$ for the core.

Spoon sells the same diameter remanufactured throttle body for around 1000$.

Maxbore increases the diameter from 50mm to 54-55mm.

I am not sure how much more horsepower it will give, but I can feel a better response during acceleration. Also is ideal if you have a intake or super charger/turbo system.

Dang. Is that how much used throttle bodies go for these days? Thought the price would have went down from when I did this.

While I'm sure you may be able to find an older or higher mileage throttle body for cheaper. The price I quoted is from what I am seeing online for a used 2013 crz throttle body.

If anyone is wondering if this is worth it or makes that much of a difference on an NA car, it absolutely is and absolutely does.

ArtJDM is right on that note. I can definitely feel the response. My setup consist of a CAI, Fit manifold, second cat delete, and cat back. The bored throttle body is the cherry that tops off the cake on my ride fosho. I don't think you'd be disappointed and I'm trying to give someone on this forum a good deal.

When I first saw this posting I was thinking how could a throttle body be emotionally low or have any feelings at all and what do Butterflies have to do with cars other than block filters?

Free bump
