Wow, if I was on the East Coast i'd be HIGHLY interested in this! I'd just hate to see how much shipping would be to the West and then if I have to ship back seats, etc... and the super hardest part of uninstalling it and getting it in mines.. a NIGHTMARE! oh gosh just gotta find a shop in LA area that could put some sounds in mines as thats all I really care about with mods!

I think i posted in a another thread. Even thought the "new" value of this stuff may be 2 or 3k, the used market value is only pennies on the dollar for ANY used stereo equipment.

I got shot down on my other thread, but this is going to take pennies on the dollar pricing to move it out and on.
Just browse craigs for all the used equipment, going for, you got it "pennies on the dollar" pricing.
If you want to sell it, then rip it out and sell it for 900 bucks. Or, you will still be looking at this stuff in a closet or on a shelf in 5 years, wondering why you didnt just sell it for the 900. It is like a used computer or a used car, the value drops the minute it comes out of the box, is installed, and is used. Just being Real, not trying to be rude.
sorry.

Damn, and I tried buying this by doing payments that would come to 1,500. I was also willing to swap seats and door panels too, but deal fell through since I am military and unable to take leave on short notice or have such money at any given time.

That sucks, man. A system like this would top off your car perfectly.

Yeah, I was really looking into getting it but I was pressured to try and make the transaction faster and he wanted a shop to do it all, which I didn't have the money to even do.

Dude you are right on. I showed a few buddies this thread and they were all like that sh$t ain't eva gonna sell at the price that dude is looking for especially if he trying to get a shop involved which will add on to the price. Maybe if I was closer we could just swap CRZ'zzzz. lol

That's still a rough price. Granted the equipment is awesome, its extremely custom, so that restricts your market to people who aren't planning on changing the car back stock (lest they do what you're doing now) and people who happen to love the same color scheme and design. And if you're insisting on having a shop do the work insteading of letting someone do it themselves and save the money, you should have it looked into and list the price for the install on the OP, otherwise you're never going to get this to sell. Awesome equipment though, If my cr-z was red I'd be all over this set up, but it's one of the risks of going super custom :/ good luck with the sale bud.

I've removed the bit about having a shop install it. If you have the skills to do it, then have at it. The only responsibility the buyer has is getting my car back to stock. From there on, i'm not concerned.

Also, price has been reduced to $1,000 for the audio equipment, and $1,500 to add in the seats/doors.

I still think about the possibility of getting this system but then reality hits me with the costs associated getting it to where I was and currently am.
