Clarification on the availability of red CR-Z's in Canada

I know a few Canadian folks here have the CR-Z in red and I've previously seen one in a dealership (the dealer said it was a Honda demo that toured the country) but is there an official word on the colour in Canada? Every other dealer has no idea about the car, let alone the colour (I'm sure you all know this..!) The best I have to go on from this video on the Honda site...



I had a red 1.6 EL as a first car and loved the colour - so I'd really REALLY like the CR-Z I come home with this spring to be in red as well

I think its dealer dependent. I dont think there was an official red fOr 2011 but ive seen them from dealers. Maybe small limit number of reds getting distributed or leftovers from US?

So far I have seen only one red on the road couple times. (supermarket parking lot)

Well....

It was on the colour card for CR-Z's at one dealership in London ON, in April 2011. There's one at a Barrie dealer on Auto Trader website. I think a forum member in the Maritimes has one. There's the one in my driveway, too...

No idea how many are here, but mine is definitely a Canadian model. No TPMS would be the first clue.

Still, the fact that the colour still doesn't show as an option on the Honda.ca website would suggest that the colour is rare.

There's a red one sitting on the lot at the dealership here in Maple Ridge. Second one he's had in I think.

according to honda website it isnt available.. but ive seen a red one at a dealership in newmarket ontario.. O_O

probably can't "Order" them as new but they have some available currently while supplies last.

i was offerd a red one but went for white, the swapped it with another dealer
