You asked for it...and it's finally here... The Swift Sport Lowering Springs groupbuy from Bulletproof Automotive! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just a small sampling of cars in Japan running Swift Springs...and yes, that's Nobuteru Taniguchi AKA "N.O.B" for those of you who follow Japanese Motorsports, "No One Better" is a legendary driver and certainly lives up to his namesake! Swift’s impressive motor sports history dated back to 1998, first was with Nissan Skyline GT-R in the Super Taikyu Endurance championship series in Japan. Then Swift got involved with the championship teams in Le Mans 24hrs, Nurburgring 24hrs, Super GT (JGTC), Super Taikyu series, D-1 World Grand Prix, F3, F3000, Formula Toyota, and many other world class races. They've also had great success and response to their line of Sport Springs for street use and they are proud to release a set of highly tuned lowering springs for the Honda CR-Z! Here is a picture of the first CR-Z in the states on the Swift Sports, thanks Alex for sharing this with us! ![]() This particular setup is still being fine tuned by the team over at Swift to maximize the stock shocks dampening range, but the end result will be in the range of a 1" drop all around and a more sport oriented ride while still maintaining comfort for a daily driven car. The GroupBuy Details! MSRP on the Swift Sport lowering springs for the Honda CR-Z is set at $399.00 + shipping PLEASE PM ME FOR PROMOTIONAL PRICING! You won't find better PRICES or CUSTOMER SERVICE elsewhere -- as the original and very first sponsor on this forum, I guarantee you that! But because of our long lasting relationship with Swift Springs, and my confidence that many of you guys are itching to get your CR-Zs lowered, the group buy structure will be significantly less expensive for my fellow forum members! * The Swift Sport springs have a tentative ETA towards the end of February if all testing goes to plan. These will ship out as soon as they become available.[/B] Add your name to the list and I'll update the post to reflect the current groupbuy status ![]() 1. hybridkoop (Paid & Processed!) 2. zeropointzero (Paid & Processed!) 3. Swift uses a shock dyno to measure tolerances and tests the hell out of their springs. They are often the best handling springs available and because of all the testing the spring rates are matched well to the capability of the damper which reduces wear on the shocks as much as possible. The drop is conservative but nice looking and the springs retain suspension travel that you may lose with other springs that aren't engineered as well.
in short, buy them unless you want coilovers like i do.

Eibach is great company and I've personally ran their products on my own car a long time ago, so I don't have any negatives to say on that front whatsoever! That being said, some of the members in the other communities that I speak with have mentioned that the Pro-Kit line is a tad soft for their liking. Now keep in mind with different cars you will have suspension geometry. If you guys prefer the Eibachs -- I can get you these as well, so no bias here! Just PM for the details. However if it was my own car, I'd recommend the Swifts. We cater to everyones preference so it's nice to have the freedom to be more of a consultant with all brands available to my customers. As far as the Swift springs go, we've had nothing but great feedback in those same communities (Evo, S2K, GT-R) and especially good feedback from the Japanese side of things where our Top Secret vehicles are optimized with Swift springs in the different coilover setups. They've been just proven to flat out work for the majority of guys, and you get the plus side of Japanese engineering! If you've read the "hype behind made in Japan" thread at the bottom of our forum, you'll understand the ideals behind the seemingly endless testing and tweaks that are going on with these Sport Springs, even as we speak! Swift is not a company that will rush a product out just to be the first on the market. A great example is the Evo X Spec R springs which were released early this year...the Evo X has been out since 2008, but they wanted to make sure that one of their marquee products was perfected before being released to the public. You can do a search on Swift springs on any automotive forum and find a bunch of positive results from end users. These will be perfectly mated to the OEM dampers, offer a nice conservative drop, and have been tested not only on a shock dyno but also in the real world on U.S. soil. For the price and quality, you just can't go wrong! - Jason

Swift doesnt just chop the springs and raise the spring rates like most other companies. Swift does a ton of R&D before releasing a product.
And if you take a look at this thread its a short cut to different reviews on different applications. Also the science of their springs. First Page! SWIFT Springs is making springs for the CRZ?? |
