Do you have a copy of the installation instructions you can post? I would like to see what is required to mount this on a CR-Z before I buy one.

looks great... better than the decals you guys posted before... however, one would have to consider the legality of using the Blue one on their car... police might not like the fact you added a blue light on the car...

also, i personally wouldn't want one that lights up... it's neat for shows and stuff... but for daily practicality, it would be off on my car...

is the just for the back or is the front the same size?? any way to get the whole thing filled up so it's a solid emblem like the Type-R (JDM Red) emblems?? i suppose one could just fill it in with some type of acrylic or resin and smooth to a nice flat finish... am i making sense??

btw, i don't own a CR-Z yet... so i cannot order any fine products from you guys just yet

Tommy Kaira recommends professional installation by a body shop but depending on what the OEM badge looks like and how it is attached to the rear of the trunk -- you'd basically run the wires through and wire it to any power source, the closest being the taillight wires. This would also let the emblem be turned on/off at the same time as your head/taillights.

As far as blue legality goes, in all honesty the emblem is small enough where it's not going to attract attention from the authorities -- and it's on a CR-Z which typically flies under the radar!

This is only for the REAR so far, and is a complete replacement emblem.

In California at least the red can only be used in the rear. Only amber and white can be in the front. Blue is funky as it's known to be a police color but isn't actually.

Emblems look really kwl though. Would love to get one if I wasn't in stupid Cali.

I hope you understand, that these companies are based in Japan, so the instructions will be primarily in Japanese...

Pictures from the install booklet should suffice, however like I stated earlier, professional installers can figure this out relatively easily.

You know, it would be really amazing if you could somehow jack it in so the emblem changes colors with the dash.

that'd be awesome... unfortunately i think the emblem is the one with the color and not the LED in the emblem... i like where you're going with this tho

I would be afraid someone would steal these. I had my red H's stolen on my last car...
