Im also coming from a skunk 2 modified short shifter as well. as far as throw i cant really tell a difference. they seem the same in shortness, the buddy club may be slightly shorter but just ever so slightly. hight - yes the buddy club is lower and that feels much better. the best part of the buddy club shifter is how smooth it is. It is sooooo much smoother than the stock assembly. shifting into every gear is just so much easier. This mod is worth they money especially if your throw is stock.

I think it's worth it even if you have the Skunk2 shifter. It's just a really nice shift. I was just telling Tony yesterday that it has such a great feel to it and I really enjoy driving the car even more.

I don't know if I'd describe it as "a pain" but I know what you mean. Driving is so satisfying now. Just flicking your wrist and hearing that nice, mechanical click before you take off.

I'd like to make an addendum. I put on a 480 gram shift knob and now driving around is incredible. It's so easy, might as well be driving an automatic. I can't even call it shifting anymore. It's more like suggesting a gear.
