Here in Maui waiting on the tsunami to arrive at 3am.

No worries for me here at 312 foot elevation, but lots of anxiety by people waiting for a possibly destructive wave to arrive, but it will likely be nothing compared to the devastation that is being shown in Japan.

Scary situation there. I saw a video showing the path of mud engulfing everything insight (no way anything can stop it). Luckily it seems to be mostly agricultural area. Only saw several buildings engulf but I am sure there were massive devastation and lose of lives. My prayer and thoughts to all affected.

Checking in from Suzuka. All is safe here. Felt the quake and had some small tsunamis but all is good in Suzuka. So much damage up north, can't believe it. Can't reach friends yet from the north.

The footage on CNN is unreal. The quake and tsunami in Japan make Hurricane Katrina look like a thunderstorm.

Hope life retuns to normal as soon as possible.
