Question Aftermarket Head/Tail lights?

Hello everyone, I'm new here & not yet a proud owner of my own CR-Z . But, I've been doing some research on what I will be modifying on my car when I get it (hopefully VERY soon). I've yet to find any different lights heads or tails..have any of you?

Thanks in advance!

I've been looking for awhile now and besides some basic mods (tints, HIDs, euro style headlights) you won't find to much. I really want a different set of tail lights, I think the OEM ones are kind of boring.

Yeah I agree, they are boring! Was thinking of tinting the tails all red seeing as I wanted a red car with a black hood, black roof, & black trunk. Dark tints of course

Good call, but I think I'm going to build a set of my own custom tails soon*.

*actually I'm going to start looking now*

I don't know if this helps, but I put Lamin-X film on my tail lights. Here is how they turned out:

Those do look a lot better when the lights are off, but once they lights come back on it's the same old boring design. If I could find a set for under $800 I'd pick them up and get to work making them a little nicer.

The tail lights are one of my favorite parts tbh... Not long and huge like the prius and not the same ole civic tail light. Plus they are bright as hell. I'll be changing my headlights here shortly to another factory option.

I think the stock tails look good, and though it would be nice to have the factory HID's, I can live without them.

Be careful with aftermarket headlights...they are usually not sealed properly (so you get to seal them or get a ton of condensation) and you might have deal with stuff like leveling them and wiring issues.
