Any ideas on if this is a valid concern? thinking of putting on a CRZ ViS Racing AMS Carbon Fiber Hood.

Edit: Seeing as you're in Indiana, maybe winter time isn't a good idea.

Don't they offer a piece that blocks the vent for an additional cost? Maybe the VIS one doesnt, but I could have sworn that another one did.. maybe it was C-West.

C-west hood does have a rain gaurd cover with 3 drain points that redirect the water away from the motor. Rain the last 2 days and the protector works great.

C west comes with it, the ViS one you have to pay extra. I think Kami or Go Tuning was advertising them.

Sorry to hijack but can anyone actually tell me how to change the crz bonnet?

I got a J's racing aero hood in CF, just after taking a dremmel to it to fit the rain guards...only part im stuck at is taking the old one off...any help would be appreciated thanks

Its just 4 bolts. 2 one each side. I recommend a second person to hold the hood while you remove the bolts.
