Default Gauging Interest: T1R B-Max Street Coilovers!?

Just like the topic title says, this is a gauging interest thread in regards to possibly developing a new set of coilovers for the Honda CRZ.

We are possibly planning on developing a coilover system for the CRZ geared towards daily street use as well as spirited cornering and some occasional track use. The coilovers will feature both ride height adjustable as well as dampening adjustable rebound and compression.

We wish to present these coilovers at an affordable price to consumers while maintaining our top of the line quality.

If we can generate enough interest, we should be able to get a group buy for these!

Any input would be greatly appreciated as we are currently in planning phases.

Thanks!

Jason @ AJR

I have been looking for set of coilovers, if the price is reasonable, I would add these my other T1R stuff on the car.

depends on the spring rate. I'm looking for a 6-8k spring.

Pricewise we are working something around $800-$1000 mark.

The suspension will maintain a wide range adjustability but the dampening will lean towards comfort side.

Standard springs will be F.6k R.4k but if we get this on going, we can order 8&6k for you.

C-pillar will be the tough part. As I recall, the USDM CRZ has lights around the C-pillar area so most like you may have to remove it and cut before you can have one installed. I bet most ppl may not want to do that unless we supply 2 pre-cut covers but that will cost quite a lot.

Also interested but yes it was like 150-200 for them to ship my seat which was oversized and only weighed 15lbs so hopefully the weight on these won't cause it to be that much

Coilovers won't be that expensive to ship out. We should be able to work out a pretty good price for shipping via ground shipping.

The reason why shipping for the seat was so much more was because of such a large box.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thanks.

I'm curious to know what kind of preference you guys might be looking for regarding the coilovers?

Feel free to post your input and we'll try to make it all happen!

Thanks.
