I was just looking at getting both of these products, it's getting very very tempting... Anyone know the HP/MPG gain for a CVT CR-Z? Also, are these both things I'd be able to install myself? I've installed a SRI before on my last car, but I've never installed an exhaust.

20+ HP for $700 bucks. Good bolt on Cost/HP Ratio!

If you have jackstands, the exhaust will be no problem. If I were you I'd throw in a little extra to get the CAI. It's so much better than the SRI. If you're worried about sucking up water, get a bypass valve for it. I live in Florida and the streets around here flood and I don't have a problem driving through the rivers that our streets turn into.

With the CAI, I noticed about a .7 mpg increase. There are dyno charts showing about a 10hp gain each for the CAI and the Exhaust. The SRI gets somewhere between 5-7hp.

This is definitely worth the money.

Oh, the bolts that hold the midpipe the the downpipe are a pain to get off though.

Thanks Art! Yeah, plan to do the install a day in advance and hit all of the nuts and bolts with PB Blaster the night before
