Default ViS vs Seibon

Anyone have any insight or experiences with their CF quality? Both have OEM bonnets one is the around 700 shipped and the other quoted at 545 shipped.

I'd go with vis from what I've seen the quality is a bit better. You should get the spoon one .

Get the spoon one. It won't take your head off in a front end collision.

No, the pins are there to keep the hood down when it randomly flies opens on the highway because the hook on the hood may or may not be poorly manufactured.

Hehe, can't imagine that to become a real problem?
I have just ordered a Seibon CF hood, and after some research I only hear nice things bout it

Inexpensive carbon fiber hoods aren't designed with crumple zones in mind, so they don't react in the same manner as a well designed hood that knows when and where to break when it's been impacted. I'm not saying that you definitely will get decapitated, but most of these hoods aren’t designed with safety in mind.
