Default JDM Reverse Interlock Mirrors?

My one complaint about the CR-Z is lack of rear visibility, especially when backing in to park. I've gotten used to it, kinda, but I have to maneuver my head all over the place to spot my rear wheels. And even then I'm straight up guessing on the passenger side... I'm getting new wheels soon, so I want to make sure they are safe from curb rash and such.

I found this on one of my favorite websites to buy JDM stuff for my Evo IX. The problem is they usually don't have the greatest descriptions and they can't really help with anyone's particular application as far as installation goes.

A wiring diagram of the power mirror system would be immensely useful to me. If anyone has access to these, I would be eternally grateful. I would also like both USDM and JDM diagrams, so I can compare the deviations between the different systems.

Also, anyone who has these on their CR-Z have any comments on how the mirrors work? Do both sides tilt? Does one side tilt when selected by power mirror switch? Even worth doing?

Just looking into the feasibility of this before I drop $200 on this mod...

This is what most luxury cars have BMW Acura Lexus its a motor that tilts the mirror down for you to see your tires and curb. I drove a BMW before and this helps so much. Would love to get one in the cr-z

I was thinking of getting this from japan and apply it to my CR-Z also, but don't know if it is compatible.
Did you ever got to do this?
I have the Honda part-number 08V08-SZT-000 for the genuine Honda, do you know where to get the manual for this installation?

I've posted this before: KP Technologies

check out their products. they have auto tilt mirrors when you reverse, electronic lock beep (like toyota), one touch windows, push button start, roll up windows with your key, and some other neat stuff. i'm assuming it's way cheaper than JDM as well.

this will be very usefull,i often put the drivers side mirror down when i reverse, its i bit of a hassel to do it manually,so this is a great mod,if its plug and play, and it looks like it is.
So i've send them an email, see what they say.
thanks for the part number.

Just to remember the part number is from Honda Japan, so it might not be available in Europe.
If you get more information about this could you post any updates?

Obrigado

So you just ignored my link then monkey? Let me try again:

KP Technologies

dual mirror tilt for $100, single mirror tilt for $60.

I just converted the currency. At 14,800 Yen, that is $190 US. Looks like KP costs half as much for dual mirror tilt.

Ohhhh, that makes a huge difference. I'd pay extra for plug and play. My apologies!
